Introduction (Purpose)

One glimpse in the mirror is all it takes for me to ask "WHO AM I?"

OK... YES.. I know my name, I know my history, I know that I have many memories of years passed.
Unfortunately, everytime I think about the details, they become mangled. I no longer remember...Who I am, What makes me happy, or any of the things that I once thought I was...

This blog is my attempt to sort out all these details, and when I am done, I should be able to sit down and write an autobiography that I can leave for my children and grandchildren, so that they will not ever have to wonder...

1973-Life Begins

On Feb. 9, 1973 @ 6:52am, in Middletown regional Hospital (Middletown, Ohio) I was born. My parents named me Jessica Lynn Tolson after my maternal Grandfather Leonard Jesse Smith.My Mother, Karin Peggy Smith-Tolson (August 3, 1957 - July 4, 1992), was only 15 years old at the time and my father (Listed on Birth Certificate) Jeffery Harmon Tolson Jr. (July 29, 1956) was 16 years old.

What people didn't know back then was that Jeff may have been my mother's husband, but he may not have been my biological father. There were two other men. The first was James D. Secrist (Feb). He was my mothers 1st real boyfriend and later became her 2nd husband/my 1st step father.

the second, was a man that shall remain nameless; as even he don't know the possibilities (Maybe it is better that way).
